I sent a bunch of comments by email. I sent this one, too, but it seemed somebody ought to say something here on the forum. You can do slow critters by limiting how many actions can be spent on moves. I'm not sure that I like that the same movement amount is taken per action point, but I'd be willing to give that a go. But the only way I see to make a faster critter (say cavalry) is with Charge. That is a triple move for 2 points, in a straight line with no difficult ground, and there are trample attacks thrown in. I'd like to see something with just speed in there, like for light cavalry. This ability throws in two aspects (speed and momentum). If I playtest with my figures it will be goblins and elves, and the troll might have the same rule as a cavalry figure, though for completely different reasons. Seems odd. thanks andy
