Looks like you're settling into rolling < size with a number of dice determined by combat skill.
It still seems odd to me, and I wanted to see whether there was another way to look at it.
The way it is now, the range of results you can get is determined by your skill. You can get anywhere from 0 to Combat, and the probability of results is determined by your size. Seems backward to me. Big size, low combat: large chance of scoring low number of hits. Small size, high combat: likely to score low hits, but it is possible for results to go high.
I suppose you could say that the small size/low combat figure will occasionally get you in the eye or something, and thus the high number of hits. But it seems unlikely to me that the big clumsy thing can only get a low number of hits when it does connect.
So I'm still in favor of number of dice determined by size, and what you have to roll being determined by combat skill.
What are the main reasons for using the current system?
thanks andy

Hi Andy,
Elegance originally, but I think your right on this one. You gain 1 attribute, but its actually a better system.
I just updated the blog with a system change proposal.
